Me at a vista point in Joshua Tree National Park overlooking Coachella valley, December 2002. To your left (my right) you can see Mt. San Jacinto; to your right (my left) is Mt. San Gorgonia. The hazy area in front of Mt. San Jacinto is the Coachella Valley; Palm Springs specifically. Because of the line of sight, I was able to make a cell call from here.
